Day 1: Arrival – Paro – Thimphu

Day 2: Thimphu
- Morning breakfast at Hotel
- Head out for an amazing sightseeing tour of Thimphu
- Visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in the honour of late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck
- Then visit the largest Buddha Statue that overlooks the beautiful Thimphu Valley
- Explore the Motithang Takin Preserve, the humble abode of Takin, the national animal of Bhutan
- visit to the Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the national government &Central Monastic Body
- Later drive to Simtokha Dzong, the oldest Dzong of Bhutan built by Zhabdrung in 1627 Finally visit the Handicrafts Emporium followed by shopping for souvenirs at the local markets in Thimphu
- Drop back to Hotel

Day 3: Thimphu- Punakha
- Morning breakfast at Hotel

- Embark on a drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass
- If the weather is clear, stop for a while at Dochula Pass to view Higher Himalayas
- En-route visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as “the Temple of Fertility”
- Check in Hotel
- Visit Punakha Dzong situated between Pho Chu (Male River) and Mo Chu (Female River)
- Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk
- Dinner at Hotel

Day 4: Punakha- Paro
- Morning breakfast at Hotel

- Drive towards Paro
- On Arrival Paro, Check in Hotel
- Relax for sometime
- Proceed to visit the ruins of the Drukgyel Dzong 16 km up the Valley.
- Spend some time to explore the ramparts and on a clear day
- Experience an unforgettable view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m)
- On the way back, visit Kichu Lhakhang, built in 659 A.D by the Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo
- Drop back to Hotel

Day 5: Paro- Taktsang- Paro
- Morning breakfast at Hotel
- Start your day with an excursion to Taktsang Monastery
- Drive to Satsam Chorten
- From there take a 2 hr horse ride to reach the viewpoint point of the monastery
- The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags to reach Taktsang
- The monastery was built around Guru Rinpoche’s meditation cave & clings to the edge of a rock cliff that plunges 900 meters into the valley below
- Visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower, which now houses the National Museum below which is the Paro Rinpung Dzong (literally meaning “Heap of Jewels”)
- Enjoy a short walk to the base of the dzong across a traditional cantilevered, covered bridge
- In the evening, Drop back to Hotel
- Dinner at Hotel

Day 6: Paro- Departure
- Morning breakfast at Hotel
- After breakfast check out from the hotel
- Proceedfor Paro International Airport for your onward journey
