Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival- Siem Reap
- Arrival at Siem Reap International airport
- Warm welcome by local tour guide
- Pick up and transfer to Siem Reap
- Check in Hotel
- Visit Tonle Sap Great Lake is the Largest Fresh Water Lake in Southeast Asia
- Then visit West Baray Big Pond, a “baray” is a water reservoir built by the ancient Khmer people
- On Private boat, visit floating villages of residents
- See how they live and make their living on floating houses, floating market, school, pagoda and small crocodile farm etc
- Proceed to Wat Thmei (Killing Field) contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge
- Continue to “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor” the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts
- Take a short walk along the road in front of the King’s Residence to see the Main Shrine
- Drop back to Hotel
- Overnight stay at Hotel in Siem Reap
Day 2: Angkor
- Morning breakfast at Hotel
- Explore the Great Angkor City of Khmer Empire
- Start at South gate of Angkor Thom, where you can collect the nice beautiful of Tonle Om River
- Visit Bayon Temple, the state Buddhism temple built by Great King Jayaraman VII
- Proceed to visit Bayon Temple which stands in the centre of Angkor Thom City at Angkor in Cambodia
- Later visit The Terrace le Elephants, which was used as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army
- Then visit The Terrace of the Leper King is located in the northwest corner of the Royal Square of Angkor Thom, Cambodia
- Proceed to visit The statue depicts the Hindu god Yama, the god of death
- Later visit another hidden jungle temple of Taprohm, is the modern name of Rajavihara, built in Bayon style
- Discover the world’s Greatest Monument- Angkor Wat, which faces to the West
- Angkor Wat, the largest temple in the world with a volumn of stones equalizing that of the Cheops Pyramid in Egypt
- Drop back to Hotel
- Overnight stay at Siem Reap
Day 3: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh
- Morning breakfast at Hotel
- Check out Hotel
- Transfer to Phnom Penh with 2 stops along the journey of 324kms
- En-route stop a short stop visit Ancient Bridge, the bridge built since Angkor Time
- Then stop at the famous local market at Skun
- Then stop at one beautiful lake restaurant
- Arrival Phnom Penh
- Check in Hotel
- Overnight stay at Phnom Penh
Day 4: Phnom Penh
- Morning breakfast at Hotel
- Start to explore the city
- Visit The Royal Palace, is a royal residence of the King of Cambodia
- Then visit Silver Pagoda, which houses of many national treasures including many golds and jeweled Buddha statues
- Visit the most significant small green crystal Buddha (the “Emerald Buddha” of Cambodia)
- Then visit Independence Monument was built in 1958 to memorialize Cambodia’s independence from France in 1953
- Continue to visit Wat Phnom Doan Penh, the small hill locates in the centre of Phnom Penh capital
- Go to visit Tuol Sleng Museum , this former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces
- Shopping at Central Market on your own
- Drop back to Hotel
- Overnight stay at Phnom Penh
Day 5 : Phnom Penh – Departure
- Morning breakfast at Hotel
- Time is free for shopping
- Check out Hotel
- Proceed to Phnom Penh airport for your flight back home
