Chandragupta basadi of the Gangas in Chandragiri hill and Parashwanatha basadi at the hillock. Moodbidri is popularly known as Jain Kashi because the town houses 18 beautiful Basadis (Jain temples), sacred scriptures of Jainism, the Dhawalas. Moodabidri is home to the 1000 Pillar Jain temple  Tribhuvan Tilak Chudamani Basadi is ornately carved in the Vijayanagar style and is the largest basadi compared to other Basadis.
