Stretching across the mighty summits of Eastern Himalayas, Sikkim is a picture-postcard destination. Sikkim is one of the northeastern states of India and a prominent hilly extension of the Great Himalayan mountain range. Lying at an elevation of 8,586 metres, the state’s highest point is the summit of Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak of the world. Nathu La connects Sikkim with Tibet. The pass is a part of an of the ancient trade route called the Silk Route. Nathu means “listening ears” and La means “pass”. The pass is 54 km east of Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Nathula Pass boasts in the mountains and other attractive destinations are also worth viewing.

Day 4: Gangtok- Departure
